Producer, News

Local 22 & Local 44 in the beautiful Champlain Valley is looking for an aggressive Newscast Producer. Our shows focus on local news that really matters to our viewers. We have the tools you need to make your shows really stand out. Our stations cover VT, NY, NH and southern Quebec, so there is never a shortage of news. Work with a great group of journalists, and have a little fun too! Live and work in one of the country`s most scenic locations, just minutes away from some world-class ski resorts. 

The News Producer produces daily newscast items, approves scripts, writes teases and other content, times news programs, and posts video to the website. There will also be opportunities to work on special projects with the news, weather and sports teams. 

Senior Vice President of Strategy/Development

The Senior Vice President of Strategy and Development will be a strategic thought leader and collaborative partner in driving success for a vibrant $22 million not-for-profit organization. Successful candidate will be responsible for an integrated, strategic institutional advancement program to expand awareness, increase public engagement, and increase financial support to the Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network (CPBN). In this leadership position, the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Development structures and oversees a comprehensive action plan that results in increased funding, a strong public profile, vibrant partnerships, and increased involvement by members, donors, sponsors, and stakeholders in the work of CPBN

Grants Associate (Part-Time)

The Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network (CPBN) is home to CPTV, WNPR, and the Learning Lab. CPTV is a locally and nationally recognized producer and presenter of quality public television programming, including original documentaries, public affairs, and educational programming. WNPR is an affiliate of National Public Radio, Public Radio International, and American Public Media. The Learning Lab serves high school juniors and seniors through a partnership with Hartford Public Schools and the Journalism and Media Academy Magnet School and the Institute for Advanced Media, a program that provides the men and women of our armed forces and other adult learners an opportunity to learn skills necessary for the 21st century digital media workplace.
