ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE/ MEDIA SALES – WFSB

WFSB is seeking a passionate, energetic, and highly motivated Sales Executive who can adapt quickly and maximize sales on all our over-the-air and digital platforms. A strong work ethic and the ability to formulate and execute a daily plan is a must. This is a fast-paced and fun business that requires persistence, organization, creativity, and interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with clients and assigned/designated agencies through frequent contact in person and by telephone and to promote the station and sell Core Digital, Extended Digital, OTT, and Broadcast Commercial Spot. One must prepare sales presentations to sell digital and commercial airtime utilizing available in-house ratings, research materials, knowledge of the advertisers and agencies and their advertising needs, knowledge of the local marketplace competition, and available station assets.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • College degree preferred or equivalent in years of experience.
  • Previous outside sales experience is preferred.
  • Previous work in media sales is preferred.
  • Must have strong administrative skills.
  • Must have strong prospecting skills.
